What a talent & influencer manager does
Talent and influencer managers are the business brains behind creators. They handle brand deals, negotiations, scheduling, partnerships and growth strategy so the creator can focus on making content. Roles sit either directly with a creator, inside a talent agency managing a roster, or on the brand side running influencer programs.
Skills that matter
Relationship-building, negotiation, a working knowledge of creator monetization and brand-deal rates, organization across many moving deals, and fluency in the platforms and culture of the creator economy. Sales and project-management experience translate well.
What these roles pay
Talent management often combines a base with commission on deals closed, so earnings scale with the roster's success. Agency and brand-side roles commonly post in the $60k–$120k+ range (often with bonus/commission on top).
How to break in
Demonstrate that you understand creator monetization, come with a network or a track record of closing partnerships, and be specific about the niches and platforms you know best. Many roles are remote, US- and Europe-focused.
